St Clements Pre School & Nursery is a welcoming early years setting dedicated to high quality care and education. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, offering a balance of structured activities and child led play that supports social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Our approach is centred on building strong relationships with children and parents. We believe children learn best when they feel safe and supported, and our team takes pride in creating a calm, inclusive environment where every child can flourish at their own pace.
Flexible funded sessions to suit your family
We offer Early Education funded places for eligible one, two, three and four year olds, with options for 15 or 30 funded hours. Funded sessions are available in a range of morning, afternoon and full day patterns, allowing families to choose what works best for their child and their routine.
Early Education funding covers the cost of care and education. A voluntary service charge applies to cover food and drinks provided during sessions, such as breakfast, snacks and tea. Additional hours may be purchased subject to availability, with hourly rates varying by age. Families may also be eligible for further help with childcare costs through schemes such as Tax Free Childcare or Universal Credit.
Our setting is designed to be bright, engaging and inviting, with a range of indoor and outdoor spaces that encourage children to explore and learn through play. From creative activities and role play to quiet reading corners and outdoor discovery, there is something for every child to enjoy.
